This is a vintage 14k yellow and rose gold brooch. It has a wonderful flower basket design, with genuine amethyst gemstone flowers. It is likely a custom item, and is truly a statement piece. Based upon the design I believe this is from the 1950's to 1960's, but have no way of being certain. The pin is 14k yellow and rose gold, and is marked 14K on the clasp and on the back. The amethyst gemstones weigh 3.4 carats. The mix of the yellow and pink gold has a really nice look to it.
