An addition to the highly-touted family of SLX reels the SLX MGL 70 features Shimanos low inertia MGL Spool in a compact 70-size reel. The MGL Spool excels in the castability of both finesse and heavy lures while the compact size of the SLX MGL 70 makes it a perfect reel for light-line applications as well as flipping and pitching.

This reel features the Magnum Light spool, which provides quick startup and outstanding casting distance for stress-free flight. The SVS ∞ (Infinity) brake system boasts a wide range of brake adjustments with easy settings, while the highly rigid HAGANE body is equipped with technology equivalent to that of advanced models. The SLX MGL is versatile and can be used for a wide range of fishing methods, including point-and-shoot rubber jigs, topwater fishing, spinner baits, and crankbaits.
