Jigged Prince Nymph Tungsten This fly makes an excellent anchor fly for Euro style nymphing, but is equally at home under a strike indicator. It sinks great and is a wonderful attractor pattern. These standard flies are tied on Umpqua's Competition Jig Hook (C400BL) and our new Tungsten Slotted Beads (they are HEAVY). Much of the competition crowd is using this very hook much more frequently.

TGB stands for tungsten bead - the heaviest bead on the market. Tungsten is 4 times heavier than a brass bead of the same size, so you better believe that this fly is going to get DOWN and get down quickly! The jigged hook keeps the hook point riding up and results in fewer snags on the bottom.
